Maintenance Supervisor - New Sabina, Ohio
Purpose of Job
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising technicians in a manufacturing environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends continuous improvements in preventive maintenance methods, equipment, general safety, and task scheduling.

•Associate Relations: Provides support to technicians and other department members to resolve daily staffing and performance issues. Interacts with support departments to resolve downtime and production parts damage issues. Provides positive work environment that allows associates to achieve performance targets. Resolves associate issues and complaints in timely manner. Responsible for providing required training and education for all members related to maintenance activities. 2.30%
•Work Performance: Maintains and reviews work performance, works with management and HR members to track and resolve performance related issues. Uses quality tools to drive problem solving activities and improve overall performance. Drives improvement activity through lean manufacturing techniques while continuously looking for ways to improve Quality, Cost and Delivery. 3.15%
•Weekly/Monthly Reporting: Responsible for reporting accurate performance related material to department manager on a weekly and monthly basis. Data is clear and reflects gap and status of maintenance department targets. Data can be used to drive continuous improvement throughout the facility and the manufacturing areas and overall operation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Supervisor has ability to present data in method that can be shared and understood by management and executive levels. 4.10%
•Associate Data: Supervisor is responsible for tracking associate records, approving time off, providing initial desciplinary action, associate counseling and other associate related material. Associate information must be accurate and shared with HR in timely manner. Supervisor will support manager in conducting 1st level warning administration. 5.5%
•Interacts with Engineering group to provide support with manufacturing issues while seeking out continuous improvement opportunities.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and other information.Education
High School diploma or equivalent.Related Experience3 years experience leading and supervising in a manufacturing environment. Special Training or Competency
Lean manufacturing training/certificate.Work Hours
Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Off-hours as needed.Travel Requirements
25% domestic and/or international.
