The Maintenance II Job description 

•    Providing general facilities maintenance support.

•    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions on distribution center infrastructure.

•    Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, scissor lifts, etc.

•    Perform minor troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE).

•    Perform preventative maintenance procedures and handle MHE batteries. 

•    Use technology to research parts, tools, and facility maintenance requirements. 

•    Metal and wood fabrication as needed. 

•    Manage spare parts inventory and usage.

•    Coordinate and interact with outside vendors when required.  

•    Accurately track and document labor hours. 

•    Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

•    Maintain a positive working relationship across all departments.

•    Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

•    Must be flexible to occasional weekend and holiday schedules


•    Relevant technical degree: professional training is preferred. 

•    At least 2 years’ experience providing facilities maintenance such as plumbing, building lighting, overhead door maintenance, drywall & painting, warehouse racking repair, electrical repair. 

•    At least 2 years of MHE operation experience to include: forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, scissor lifts, etc. 

•    Extensive knowledge of the use of facilities maintenance hand tools.

•    Read and understand electrical schematics. 

•    Familiar with OSHA regulations. 

•    Basic computer skills.
