Kitchen Manager

Restaurant Kitchen Managers' key role is to demonstrate leadership in a friendly ENERGETIC atmosphere. Kitchen Managers are expected to do the following:

  • Use excellent people management skills to manage and motivate a diverse employee group on a daily basis.

  • Assist General Manager in financials; including inventory control and ordering, labor and food costs, work within set budgets, monitoring sales, cost controls and profit and loss.

  • Train, Support and Schedule BOH appropriately for the flow of business

  • Oversee daily operations of the kitchen & ensure food quality and specifications are met.

  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and implement quality improvements.

  • Coach & develop staff.

  • Must have at least 2 years of high-volume, salaried kitchen management experience.

  • High School diploma required. Culinary or Hospitality degree of training is a plus!

  • Must have a positive, upbeat, can-do attitude.

  • Available to work days, late nights, and weekends.

  • Experienced in working with fresh foods, and working knowledge of various cooking methods

  • Must have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • Will need to pass a background check - criminal & driving.
