PREREQUISITE

  1. Associates Degree, certification or equivalent work experience
  2. Prior experience in high pressure die casting preferred
  3. Prior experience with CNC maintenance preferred
  4. Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  5. 1st shift – 8am – 4:30pm M-F - Must have some flexibility in schedule. OT will be required.
  6. Must have minimum of 3 years maintenance supervisory experience
  7. This is a HANDS-ON supervisory position. Approx. 50% of the work will involve working on equipment. The remaining 50% will be completing schedules, purchasing related tasks, and documentation
  8. Prefer die casting maintenance experience
  9. Prefer PLC Programming experience
  10. Must have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, reading schematics & blue prints, basic machine maintenance
  11. CNC maintenance experience is a plus

Wage : starting salary will depend heavily on qualifications and previous experience. Approx. range: $50k - $70K/yr


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Compliance to the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Safety Practices, and Management Operating System documents relative to your department.
  2. Develop specific objectives and targets that support company goals and objectives.
  3. Responsible for meeting or exceeding requirements for cost targets within your functional areas.
  4. Provide leadership and support in Lean Enterprise/Manufacturing initiatives throughout the organization including but not limited to Kaizen, OEE, Kanban, SMED, 6 Sigma, etc.
  5. Define employee training needs and implement necessary actions to optimize employee performance.
  6. Evaluate employee performance in accordance with the AAC Employee Review Policy.
  7. Oversee and enforce company rules and practices in compliance with the Employee Handbook.
  8. Comply with 5S housekeeping practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  9. In conjunction with Human Resources assist in the hiring and termination of employees in your area of responsibility.
  10. Responsible for promoting and demonstrating a team philosophy in accomplishing the division’s goals and objectives.
  11. Effective management of labor resources.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Familiar with all aspects of the product lines from part prints to operation phases including tooling, fixtures, equipment, machinery and gauges.
  2. Supervise the maintenance team throughout the plant; including: casting, machining and building maintenance.
  3. Monitor and manage plant cleanliness on a daily basis.
  4. Support production requirements, repairs and improvements to machinery, tooling and equipment. Implement new ideas and parts into the existing system.
  5. Supervise the machine fabrication and implementation of new equipment for the production department.
  6. Assist the production and maintenance group in training on new and modified equipment.
  7. Ensure that all repairs are done promptly and according to the pre-established guidelines that have been set for all equipment.
  8. Ensure the plant is in compliance with all OSHA requirements.
  9. Continually monitor the safety and performance of all equipment to ensure that all safety devices are operational and OEM performance specifications are met or exceeded.
  10. Supervise the preventative maintenance program to ensure the accurate and timely gathering of all required information.
  11. Work with outside vendors on maintenance related tasks/projects.
  12. Perform other duties as required.
