*At least 2 years of L&D experience required
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration,specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical caretreatment.

Documents patient care given.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living,including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and providespatient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, andcircumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-beingof the patient.




Job Requirements:

Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and theability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressfulenvironment and take appropriate action.

Certifications: 

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

AHA NeonatalResuscitation Program (NRP)

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)within 6 months of hire and maintain thereafter 

AHA Pediatric Advanced LifeSupport (PALS) within 6 months of hire and maintain thereafter

Required Licenses

Registered Nurses
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or from a CompactState.
