Equipment Business Development Manager

We seek a results-focused, innovative, customer-centric well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Equipment Business Development Manager, Americas. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will be expected to make a deep regional contribution to Company growth and new business opportunities

by building equipment business and sales growth through the education and training of sales teams and channel partners regarding Dymax's portfolio of light-curing, dispensing, and filling equipment. You will:

  • Ensure revenue and growth objectives by mentoring and supporting Sales Teams to sell Dymax products, and by performing direct customer sales of non-Dymax branded equipment products
  • Build sales pipelines by managing existing potentials, developing new business, identifying, and evaluating industry trends and customer drivers and executing coherent strategies
  • Create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships by developing proposals and for new business materials and implementing training programs for sales teams
  • Manage overarching business development strategy by developing and implementing sales processes, structure, and best companywide practices, and by delivering timely reports on key metrics
  • Increase revenue and profitability by supporting initiatives that bring value to customers, generating deal structures and pricing with business value analysis, and negotiating prices for proactive bids
  • Build loyalty and ensure long-term revenue potential by maintaining regular contact with vendor partners and major customers at their manufacturing facilities

      Job Requirements:

      You should have:

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalency, required. Engineering, Business, or related preferred.
    • 5 years of sales or equipment business development experience
    • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
    • Proficiency in inventory control, scheduling & planning, and customer relationship management (CRM)
    • Demonstrated knowledge and practice in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma
    • Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise-1 preferred
    • Capacity to drive business goals and develop plans for future business needs
    • Ability to coach, develop, and lead teams
    • A passion for self-learning and a willingness to build own expertise
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
    • Ability to work across all functional levels of an organization, internal and external
