"The pupusas here are amazing, especially once you put on the cabbage and the delicious hot sauce that they have. It was a creamier sauce that has this smoky flavor to it and a kick to it. My friend ordered the tamales which was delicious. Unlike the Mexican counterpart which is wrapped in a corn husk, these tamales are wrapped in plantain leaves. The end result was a much moister tamale which I really enjoyed. The fried yucca was delicious. For those of you who have never had it, it is a starchy root that is pretty similar to potatoes. If you are feeling pretty adventurous, order a side of refried beans and ask for extra sauce to dip the fried yucca."
