DiscoverX is searching for an In Vitro Services Inside Sales Specialist, to join our team in St. Charles, MO.

In Vitro Services Inside Sales Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

•Achieves/exceeds assigned sales targets for the assigned geographic territory.

•Maintains an accurate sales forecast.

•Monitors large service contract usage, acquisition and renewals.

•Actively works with customers to procure compounds in a timely fashion to drive revenue and margin.

•Develops reports to track account KPIs against in vitro goals.

•Works with project management to generate appropriate quotes and work plans.

•Works with Business Development Managers to secure POs and contracts.

•Maintains an awareness of business and market-related trends to provide feedback to senior management.

•Monitors competitive activities in current and targeted markets.

•Updates and assists with account maps.

•Provides continuous customer related feed-back to the Business Development Managers.

•Directly manages relationships with C-level and academic accounts.

•Performs other duties as required and assigned.

•Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.

•Regular attendance and punctuality.

•Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.

•Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.

•Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness.

•Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required.

•Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines.

•Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements.

•Travel less than 10%: 1 -2 times per quarter as necessary.

The ideal candidate would possess :

•Experience in drug discovery research strongly preferred.

•Ability to manage and grow key accounts across the region.

•Highly self-motivated, friendly and able to specify solutions independently and as part of a team

•Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

•Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

•Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

•BS or MS in Pharmacology or related life science.

•3+ years of experience in capabilities focused, science-based selling.

•Experience in selling discovery services and reagents to pharmaceutical and biotech companies is required.

•Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
