YWCA is a national organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. With 194 local associations across the United States, YWCA has been at the forefront of advocating for social change for more than 165 years. Their mission is focused on three areas of impact: racial justice and civil rights, empowerment and economic advancement, and health and safety. Through their programs and initiatives, YWCA serves a diverse range of individuals, including women, girls, and communities of color. Their efforts include providing prevention programs for sexual assault and domestic violence, empowering women and families through economic advancement, offering health and wellness programs, and providing housing and food assistance. As a strong nationwide network, YWCA serves nearly one million people each year, striving to create a society that is inclusive and equitable for all.
