The Mark Gordon Company is a pottery and sculpture studio owned by artist Mark Gordon. With over 40 years of experience, Gordon creates wheelthrown vessels, bonsai pots, clay sculptures, and installations. His work has been exhibited in colleges, universities, art centers, and museums worldwide. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Gordon has traveled to 21 countries to study claywork traditions in the Mediterranean, South America, and the Caribbean. Fluent in Spanish, he has taught as a Fulbright Scholar in Argentina and lectured in various cities around the world. His work has been featured in notable publications such as American Ceramics, Ceramics Monthly, and The New York Times. Gordon is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Visual, Performing, and Communication Arts at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina.
