Angels Flight Railway is a historic Los Angeles landmark that has been operating since 1901. Known as the world's shortest railway, this funicular takes passengers on a short ride between Hill Street and Grand Avenue on Bunker Hill. Angels Flight Railway has provided over 100 million rides on its hillside track. In 2017, the Angels Flight Railway Foundation selected the Angels Flight Development Company to recondition, operate, and maintain the funicular for the next 30 years. The railway is open every day from 6:45 am to 10 pm and offers a fare of $1.00 each way. They also sell souvenir round-trip tickets for $2.00. The railway is located at California Plaza and the Lower Entrance is across from Grand Central Market.
