The Los Angeles Southwest Community Police Station serves the communities of Adams-Normandie, Baldwin Hills, Baldwin Village, Baldwin Vista, Crenshaw, Exposition Park, Jefferson Park, Leimert Park, Union Square, University Park, Village Green, West Adams, and Western Heights. The station is located at 1546 West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90062. The Southwest Division is under the jurisdiction of the South Bureau of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), and it covers an area of approximately 13.11 square miles with a population of over 165,000 people. The station is staffed by 352 sworn personnel and 32 civilian personnel who work to reduce crime and traffic collisions, provide law enforcement services, and improve the quality of life in the Southwest Area.
