Specialist - HR II

Location: Kent, WA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Specialist - HR II

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Act as the first and second point of contact for employee inquiries, MSP and triage as appropriate questions related to Contingent Labor. 
  • Provide customers (employees, managers, and HR team)accurate, consistent, and timely responses and explanation covering a variety of topics from general HR policy to HR systems support. 
  • Organize and coordinate the operations and activities related to the HR Contingent Labor Operations Collaborate with the broader HR team and internal functional subject matter experts to resolve employee issues in a thorough and timely manner. 
  • Identify solutions to improve processes and automate where possible. 
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and collaborate with Hiring Managers and MSP partner to recommend appropriate action to resolve the issues. 
  • Analyze data, identify trends and develop recommendations for solutions. 
  • Participate on project teams supporting Implementation/Operations programs and initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years of HR Operations / Contingent workforce experience. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment and at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs. 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills. 
  • Possess good listening skills and patience. 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. 
  • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. Proficient in HRIS systems (Workday).
  • Mandatory Skills 
  • Research, Strong organizational skills, Note taking, Drafting documents & PPT, customer service, data entry, MS Office experience.
