Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Project Manager in Des Moines, Iowa.

Electrical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Electrical Superintendent in Durham, North Carolina is between $80,000 and $90,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Electrical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be able to independently manage large scale projects from inception to completion
• Must be able to understand and communicated plans and specifications for projects, including reviewing financials, cost data, and contract agreements
• Supporting the company, its Core Values through positive communication and actions when interacting with the client, teammates, and direct and indirect reports.
• Monitor assigned projects to ensure their financial success by controlling all costs, labor, hours, and cash flow.
• Proactively meet with project team to review and ensure scheduling, workflow, and efficient production.
• Responsible for securing or hiring subcontractors and overseeing their work.
• Verify that the necessary inspections, approvals, and certifications by appropriate agencies are completed.
• Ensure that project documents are complete timely, submitted through the appropriate channels and all project items are shared with the project team within identified timelines.

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ experience in electrical construction as electrical Project Manager working on industrial and commercial projects with in the $3-4M range
• Ideal project experience includes Data Centers (plus), food processing plants, and manufacturing plants
• Ideal person will be well-versed in the industry
• Must be able to work under pressure & meet deadlines
• Ability to work well without direct supervision or as part of a team
• Demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Must be dependable & trustworthy
• Strong employment stability

Preferred but Not Necessary

• College Degree
