    I Love Kickboxing has been one of the best things that has happened to me in my lifetime. That may sound over exaggerated, but it’s true. Before I joined, I was depressed, had lost all self-confidence and motivation, I was eating unhealthy, and I had stopped caring about my well-being. I gained 50lbs in 1 year due to depression and I felt like my life was spiraling out of control. My friend told me about ILKB and suggested I purchase the same 3 for 20.00 class special that she did. I showed up to class and was greeted by Nelson. We talked about my fitness goals, what I wanted to become and why. I felt like he really cared… And I was right, he did. May was my trainer during my first class and I was captivated by everything! It wasn’t easy at all but I loved every second of the class and instruction. The energy in the room was indescribable. After my first class I sat down with Nelson and signed a 1 year contract right off the bat. My first 2 months were put on hold due to medical issues. I was finally back and committed in January. It’s March 28 and I have lost a total of 30lbs since January 5th…. It still boggles my mind. The ILKB team is incredible. Their energy is amazing, they get to know you on a personal level, and they push you during every session. All the trainers post motivational things and tips/tools on the facebook page… Everyone goes the extra mile to keep you focused and motivated. I have a special place in my heart for May…. She is so kind, notices my effort, praises my success, and is my all around cheerleader in the gym. Every time I walk in, May’s face lights up, as does mine. She is my favorite trainer and my biggest motivator. I can’t thank the ILKB team enough. May, Nelson, Miranda, Marc, and the other trainers are one of a kind. Any person who experiences a class with these people is extremely lucky. I have ILKB to thank for helping me get back to my roots.
