Sandiago's is located at the base of the Sandia Peak Tramway, in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. The perch above the city gives the restaurant the best views of any restaurant in Albuquerque. Readers of Local IQ recently voted Sandiago's Mexican Grill Best Restaurant with a view. People flock to the windows and patio to view the city lights and spectacular sunsets. The food is just as spectacular as the sunsets. The meal starts with our home made chips and pico de gallo. The entrees range from traditional New Mexican selections of enchiladas and burritos to the house specialties from coastal Mexico. The Baja Tacos, Mahi Mahi in a creamy white wine garlic broth and grilled Salmon with a three pepper glaze are local favorites.
